The deep green velvet upholstery introduces an element of warmth and tactile luxury, creating a striking juxtaposition against the natural grain of the plywood.
Ortiz’s photography enhances this dynamic, capturing the piece within the intimate setting of Robbie Whitehead’s home. The interplay of furniture and environment allows the chaise to be seen not just as an object, but as an integral part of a lived-in space, reinforcing its functionality while elevating its artistic presence.
The visual approach embraces a naturalistic yet refined aesthetic, using light and shadow to highlight the chaise’s unique composition.
Set within an authentic interior, the imagery presents the chaise as an organic extension of the space.
